MCS Baseplate+T Handle

Hajime Feb 03, 2012 12:28PM CST

I recently purchased the Shoulder Cam and is very nice, but a few questions:

-Once all the blue knobs are tightened, the T clamps (The vertical handle with rubber) still wiggles side to side a little. Is there any way to tighten that?

-The MSC video shows the shoulder cam easily going on a tripod with the "O'Connor compatible tap-n-go plate" on the Baseplate. Im not too knowledgeable about O'Connor heads, but what would I need to purchase to be able to utilize the quick release system built in to the Baseplate. I currently have Manfrotto head and sticks, and i could put the Manfrotto qr plate on, but then i wouldn't be able to put the shoulder pad on i think... are there alternatives that you know of so for the time being i dont have to purchase an entire O'connor tripod system? thank you-

The T-Handles will have a little bit of wiggle, this is normal and they are still secured. If there is too much wiggle you might be able to tighten the allen screws that connect the vertical rubber handle to the horizontal rod.

We are currently developing an interface plate that will give the same O’Connor tap n go ability to other tripod heads. This part should be ready in the next few weeks.
